One Woman Arrested for Assault, Another for Shoplifting at Sedalia Walmart

At 12:30 Saturday afternoon, Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance at Walmart. Upon arrival, a female victim told them 58-year-old Nancy A. Hanks of Sandoval, Illinois struck her in the face in the parking lot. Hanks was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond.

Around 7:30 Saturday night, Sedalia Police issued a Municipal Court Summons and court date to 21-year-old Heather A. Barnett of Sedalia for shoplifting at the Walmart store.
