Warrensburg Fire Department will hold an Open House at Fire Station One located at 102 S. Holden Street in Warrensburg on Saturday Oct. 13 from 12 noon until 2 p.m.

On display will be the newest vehicles added to the fleet that protect the citizens of Warrensburg.

There will be two pieces on display representing the bond issue passed by citizens last fall along with another piece purchased from the General Fund.

The equipment cost over two million dollars as is expected to last for nearly 20 years.

Also on display will be several other pieces of equipment along with a fire simulator recently purchased with funds raised in part by local Girl Scout Allison Adlich.

There will be a drawing for a free weather radio and you can sign up for information about free smoke detectors installed in your home, according to Warrensburg Fire Chief Jim Kushner.
