Orrick Woman Killed in Nov. 25 Accident

Sedalia Police have released the name of the victim who was killed in a deadly accident at Broadway & Winchester last Friday night.

Sandra K. Waters, 65, Orrick Mo., suffered severe chest and right left injuries and was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center, where she later died.

The accident occurred at 8 p.m. Nov. 25 when a 2011 GM driven by Maria McBride of Sedalia, was east on Highway 50 approaching Winchester when the light turned yellow. McBride said she continued through the intersection and collided with a northbound 1998 Jeep driven by Thomas Waters of Orrick. Thomas Waters and two occupants in the GM were injured.

According to the report. The GM was traveling 47 in a 45 mph zone.
