Federal workplace safety officials are investigating the death of a 42-year-old worker who became pinned between a truck and a forklift at a Fulton, Missouri, workshop for people with disabilities.

The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration says the accident happened Thursday at Kingdom Projects.

Authorities say the victim died at a hospital. His name has not been released.

OSHA says it cited Kingdom Projects in 2014 for violations involving hazards posed by confined spaces, forklifts and machines.

The company employs more than 100 adults who have developmental disabilities.

A message seeking comment was left Friday with the workshop.
