Patricia "Pat" Ann Heimsoth, 70, of rural Cole Camp, died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Cole Camp.  She was born on October 10, 1943, on the family farm near Haw Creek, rural Cole Camp, a daughter of Richard H. and Nora (Bremer) Meyer.

She attended grade school at Lake Creek and graduated from Cole Camp High School in 1961.  On March 17, 1963, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church of rural Cole Camp, she was united in marriage to Orville Henry Heimsoth by Rev. Kecker.

Pat was a life-long member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of rural Cole Camp, where she was baptized on November 7, 1943, and confirmed on July 7, 1957.  She had worked in the office at Town and Country Shoes in Sedalia from 1961 to 1965, farmed with her husband until 2000, and for the next nine and half years, was a CNA at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp.  She enjoyed gardening and attending ballgames with her kids.  She was gifted at playing the piano and organ.  She never took any lessons, only played by ear.  She played the organ for Grace Lutheran Church in Versailles, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover, Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Lincoln, and Holy Cross Lutheran Church of rural Cole Camp.

She is survived by:
her husband, Orville Heimsoth of the home;
one daughter, Gayle Hayden and her husband John of Versailles;
two sons, Gregory Heimsoth and his wife Karla of Stover and Kurtis Heimsoth and his wife Beth of Raymore;
three brothers, Vernon Meyer of Cole Camp, Wilbert A. Meyer of Cole Camp, and Roger Meyer of Cole Camp; and
two grandchildren, Zachary Hayden and his wife Alyson and Sarah Hayden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard H. and Nora Meyer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, rural Cole Camp, with Pastor Jeffrey Kuddes officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, rural Cole Camp.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp, with visitation to follow until 9:00 p.m.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Alzheimers Association or Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Pallbearers will be Gary Wahlers, Randy Meyer, Russell Meyer, Mike Meyer, Jeff Meyer, and Marvin Logan.  Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Hayden and Sarah Hayden.
