Patrick F. Swords, 55

Patrick F. Swords, 55, of Sedalia, passed away, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at University Hospital, Columbia.  He was born on February 25, 1958, in Kansas City, MO, a son of Richard and Anna (Kaiser) Swords.

On December 31, 1992 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Lisa Broyles, who survives of the home.

He enjoyed traveling to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Patrick loved animals, especially his faithful dog, Truman.  He was very family oriented and cherished spending time with his family.  Patrick was a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Ned Lindstrom III; two sisters, Meg (Robert) Liston and Mary (Linn) Eberting; two brothers, Michael (Donna) Swords and John (Michelle) Swords, all family of Sedalia.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Scott Allen and one brother, Richard Joseph Swords III.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Father James Betzen, C.PP.S officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral chapel.

Honorary bearers will be James Schwalie, Mark Klein and Jim Fischer.
