Paul Lynn Ganson, 77, of Sedalia passed away December 16, 2015 at Centerpoint Hospital in Independence, Missouri.  He was born on October 3, 1938 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of William LaVern Ganson and Inez Louella Sondrol, who preceded him in death.

On October 1, 1960 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Ann Velten, who survives of the home.

Paul owned Ganson Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in Sedalia for 25 years. He served his country honorably in the US Navy for 21 years during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Paul enjoyed building bird houses, carving wildlife wood sculptures, bird hunting, putting together puzzles, and making lead stained glass artwork. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family who he loved dearly.

Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Terri Rader of Grain Valley, MO, Tonya Kindle (Mike) of Belton, MO and Todd Ganson of Sedalia; seven grandchildren, Meghan, Chase, Nathan, Anna, Seth, Katie, Sammi; and special sea buddy, Jim Jonas of Santee, CA.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brother, Richard, David, and Don Ganson.

A Mass of Christian burial  will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Father Mark Miller, C.PP.S., officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service with a Rosary being said at 1:45 p.m.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Chase Kindle, Nathan Kindle, Seth Coulter, Kieth Wiess, Tom Monsees, and Matt Burks.

Honorary bearers will be Dale Reed, John Rucker, Ron Homan, Chris Heinze, and Charles Woody.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Ronald McDonald House.
