Peggy Benton, 84

Peggy Benton, 84, of Sedalia, passed away, Thursday, April 24, 2013 at  Fairview Nursing Home.  She was born on February 18, 1929, in Sedalia, a  daughter of John and Pearl (Gregory) Preisendorf.

Peggy  worked for Southwestern Bell and retired from AT&T in Worcester, MA.  She enjoyed visiting with her friends at The Essex and was a member of  Wesley United Methodist Church, Sedalia.

She is survived by one  son, Paul Benton of New Orleans; one aunt, Grace Deuschle of Sedalia and  one cousin, Tammy (Doug) Koetting of Sedalia.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 29, 2013, at Crown Hill Cemetery Columbarium.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mid Mo Humane Society in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
