Peggy L. Brown, 66, of Sedalia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her sisters home, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born on February 22, 1948, in Sedalia, a daughter of Donald R. and Lavahn G. (Klenklen) Brown.

Peggy formerly worked at Rival Manufacturing, Sedalia. She enjoyed playing board games, making floral arrangements and loved to travel. Peggy loved all her family especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Sorosis.

She is survived by one sister, Julie (Harry) Hoffert of Sedalia; three brothers, Dave (Cheryl) Brown of Sedalia, Greg Brown and his fiance' Martha Belker of Overland Park, KS, and Jeff (Kay) Brown of Nixa, MO.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Brown.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Rosary will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sedalia at 9:30 am on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.  Memorial mass and celebration of Peggy's life will follow, beginning at 10:00 am, with Father Mark Miller, C.PP.S. officiating.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.  Honorary bearers will be Jackie Fike, Karen Duensing, Ginger Coffelt, Lois Bohon, Shirley McCown and Susan Sanderson.

Memorials are suggested to Bothwell Cancer Research, Sedalia in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
