The Pettis County Ambulance District Board recently announced the employment of 24 full-time and six part-time employees to operate four ambulances in Pettis County. The employees were selected from over 75 resumes submitted by applicants.

The new employees will be attending a two-day orientation and training sessions in the next few weeks. Training sessions will include instruction on the employee handbook, procedures and protocols for the district.

Employees are on track to become fully operational on Oct. 1, 2013.
