Pettis County Man Faces 11 Charges After Report of Attempted Sexual Assault

Pettis County Deputies arrested 65-year-old Joseph Arbeiter on Wednesday (April 30) at his home in the 26000 Block of Goodwill Chapel Road following an investigation into a reported attempted sexual assault.

Pettis County Deputies also conducted a search warrant and uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Arbeiter faces eleven charges, totaling $500,000 bond. Arbeiter is charged with three counts of 2^nd degree assault, 1^st degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, 1^st degree rape or attempted rape, unlawful use of a weapon, two charges of armed criminal action, possession of a controlled substance, possession or marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
