An early morning wreck in Pettis County resulted in the arrest of one man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 1:30 Saturday morning, on Smasal Road just west of Highway 65.

According to the online crash report, a 2003 Chevy Tracker traveled off the left side of the road, over-corrected, then traveled off the right side of the road and overturned several times.

The driver, 50-year old Charles F. Lyman, of Raymore, MO, suffered minor injuries in the wreck. He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

A short time later, Lyman was arrested for DWI, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, No Insurance, No Seat Belt, and Failing to Drive on Right Half of the Roadway. Lyman was taken to the Pettis County Jail.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
