The following Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports are from the afternoon of June 12, 2013.

Clinton Woman killed in a two-vehicle collision in Benton County Tuesday night 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 45-year-old Clinton woman was killed in a two vehicle accident just after 8:00 Tuesday night. The accident happened on Missouri Highway “7” North of Bell Island Road in Benton County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 1999 Ford driven by 26-year-old Timothy Brown of Clinton crossed the center line and struck the 2003 BMW driven by 45-year-old Kathy Wilson, causing her vehicle travel off the roadway and strike a tree. Wilson was flown to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, where she was pronounced deceased. Brown suffered serious injuries and was flown to Research Hospital in Kansas City for treatment.

Overdose victim taken to the emergency room Sunday

Around 2:00 Sunday afternoon, Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a possible overdose victim in the 4500 block of McVey Road. The victim was transported to the Bothwell Hospital Emergency Room for treatment according to the Sheriff’s Report. No other information was available at news time.

Domestic disturbance results in arrest for a Pettis County man

Just after 10:00 this morning, Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Goodwill Chapel Trailer park on a domestic disturbance. During an investigation, Anthony Lee Edger of the residence was found to have an active warrant. Edger was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending further action.

Thefts from farms reported in La Monte and Windsor area

On Monday a victim in the 13000 block of Brockman Road in La Monte reported items were stolen from his farm. Also on Monday, a victim in the 37000 block of Swisher Road in Windsor reported thefts from his farm. There were no suspects at the time of the reports, but the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incidents.
