Pettis County Sheriff's reports 8-20-18

Pettis County deputies responded to the 32000 block of Backbone Road on Monday around 11 p.m. on a disturbance call with weapons. Investigation revealed both parties were suspects for assault charges. Both were placed into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where they were placed on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of state charges of 4th degree domestic assault. No names were released.

On Monday, Pettis County deputies obtained an extraditeable warrant out of Hardin County for the arrest of Terry Cockrell. No other details were made available in the report. Cockrell was charged in April with stealing thousands of dollars worth of artifacts from the Pettis County Museum.


 

On Monday, deputies arrested Cristobal Lopez-Lopez on charges of driving without a valid license. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released on summons with an Oct. 10 court date.
