Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports 2-26-18

On Sunday, Joseph Waller reported the theft of tools from property in the 900 block of Mitchell Road to Pettis County deputies.

On Saturday, Robert and Vicki Webb reported trespassing that occurred on their property on Yeater Road near Muddy Creek. The suspects were later located and issued four 2nd Degree summons for trespassing were issued.


 

Pettis County deputies arrested Jennifer L. Hammond of Sedalia on a Benton County warrant on Sunday. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $200 cash or surety bond and a $50 cash bond. Her court date is March 27.


 

On Sunday around 1:20 a.m., Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of US 50 for no tail lights. The operator of the vehicle, along with all five passengers, were found to be intoxicated. The driver was taken into custody and the occupants were issued summons for Minor in Possession of Intoxicants. They all have a March 27 court date.


 

On Sunday, Pettis county deputies arrested Johnathan Frederick Cota of Sedalia at 5th and Ohio on two warrants. His bond was $250.


 

On Sunday, Pettis County deputies arrested Levi Markes of Sedalia and 32nd and Aaron, for no proof of insurance, Driving While Suspended and no front license plate. Markes was released to a valid driver and now has a court appearance scheduled.


 

On Friday around 3 a.m., Pettis County deputies arrested James Schmidt of Sedalia near McVey and Suburban Lane on a Pulaski County warrant. His bond was $5,000 cash or surety.


 

On Saturday, Pettis County deputies towed an abandoned vehicle from the Roadway Mini Mart Gas Station in La Monte.
