The following Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, October 6, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit with a white Mercedes on Friday (October 2). Pettis County Deputies continued to pursue into Morgan County, but called the pursuit off when the driver of ther Mercedes drove in the wrong lane of traffic, putting the lives of innocent people in danger.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a theft in the 22000 Block of Highway 65 on Saturday (October 3).
A man in the 27000 Block of Selken Road in Smithton reported to Pettis County Deputies, someone knocked his mail box off the post, causing $75 in damages, on Saturday (October 3).

Pettis County Deputies arrested Velma Bozarth for an outstanding warrant.

Justin Williams turned himself in at the Pettis County Sheriff's Department for having an active failure to appear warrant for larceny out of Cooper County, bond is set at $500 cash.
