Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies Responded to a Report of a Shooting in LaMonte Late Saturday Night

According to a press release from the Pettis County Sheriff's office, shortly after 10:00 Saturday evening (Jan 21), deputies were called to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 400 block of South Walnut, in LaMonte. 

Upon arrival, deputies found an 18 year old male on a sidewalk in front of the apartments suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported, by air ambulance, to a Columbia hospital for the treatment of his injuries.

At this time of the report, deputies were on scene and in the process of interviewing several people. Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol provided assistance at the scene. No further details were available in that report.
