UPDATE From the Pettis County Sheriff: Reports of citizen contacts with Reva Stevenson received, but still officially listed as missing.

Detectives from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate the whereabouts of 29 year old Reva J. Stevenson, who left on foot with an armed acquaintance early last Tuesday morning from a residence just outside the Sedalia city limits.

The investigation has identified several area individuals claiming to have had contact with Ms. Stevenson since last week’s incident. Some of the reports indicate Reva was by herself and no longer appeared to be in danger.

“Ms. Stevenson had been having issues with her probation officer, which may be causing an unwillingness for her to come forward and speak with deputies,” said Sheriff Kevin Bond. “But until law enforcement makes face to face contact with her, she remains listed as a missing person by the sheriff’s office.”

Reva Stevenson may be in the company of Chris “Kyle” Naylor, 33, also of Sedalia. Naylor is believed to be the armed acquaintance Reva left with in the incident. However, the investigation has revealed the suspect’s aggressive actions were directed toward another occupant at the residence and not Reva. She agreed to walk from the scene with him to end the confrontation.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Reva Stevenson or Kyle Naylor are asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 660-827-0052 or Pettis County Crime Stoppers at 660-827-TIPS.
