SO reports 5-1-18

Late Sunday night, Pettis County deputies and Sedalia Police worked a vehicle accident at Main and Lamine. The driver of the vehicle, Jeffrey Wheeler of Sedalia, drove north on Lamine, attempting to drive around a railroad barricade, striking a railroad embankment. During the investigation, officers noticed a strong odor of an intoxicating beverage coming from Wheeler. Pettis County was asked by SPD if they would take over the investigation and Wheeler was taken into custody by deputies. He was charged with DWI.


 

Pettis County deputies took a theft report from Jason L. Johnson of the 3900 block of South Kentucky early Monday morning. According to the report, a Browning 10-gauge shotgun was taken from his vehicle while in the area of Kentucky and Covered Bridge Road. The gun was valued at $750. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 827-0052 or 827-TIPS (8477).


 

Pettis County deputies arrested Richard Danforth Bartlett of Sedalia at Highway 50 and Carr on Sunday just after 3 a.m. for Driving While Revoked or Suspended. Bartlett was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was released on summons.


 

On Saturday, Pettis County deputies arrested Alan Grant Hall of Cole Camp at 16th and Thompson Blvd., for Failure to Drive on the Right Side of the Roadway, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving While Revoked or Suspended.
