Pettis County Sheriff’s office takes a property damage complaint Monday

Around 11:30 Monday morning, the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office received a property damage complaint from a resident in the 18000 block of Highway “O” in Pettis County.  According to the Sheriff’s report, the victim reported damage to his property, which was not specified in the report. There is a known suspect in the case and the investigation is ongoing.

Minor injuries reported in a Henry County vehicle accident Monday night

At 7:25 Monday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri Route 7, east of Route “W” in Henry County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 1999 Mitsubishi driven by 54-year-old Robert Bauer of Clinton pulled onto the shoulder of the road and attempted to make a “U” turn. The Bauer vehicle was then struck broadside by a 2004 Pontiac Aztek driven by 28-year-old Brian Riggle, also of Clinton. Bauer received minor injuries in the crash and was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment. Both vehicles sustained considerable damage and were towed from the scene.
