A 31-year old man was killed early Monday morning in a two-vehicle wreck in Platte County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at approximately 1:30 at Route N and Naylor Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2001 Ford failed to negotiate a curve and crossed the center line, striking a 2008 Pontiac.

The driver of the Pontiac, 31-year old Aaron L. Lancaster, of Platte City, was killed. Lancaster's body was taken to Frontier Forensics in Kansas City, KS.

The driver of the Ford, 19-year old Matthew C. Tate, of Fort Leavenworth, KS, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to a Kansas City hospital for treatment.
