Police Arrest Sedalia Woman After Vehicle Pursuit

A 41-year-old Sedalia woman was arrested on December 15 after a vehicle pursuit through Sedalia and Pettis County. 

According to Sedalia Police, a traffic stop was initiated on a black passenger car around 9:55 p.m. near 4th and Emmet when an officer recognized the driver as having warrants out for her arrest. The vehicle reportedly fled and a pursuit ensued.

The vehicle was stopped on HH west of 135. Police say the driver than attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended by officers. Carla L. Hayworth was arrested for a parole violation, two failure to appear warrants for driving while suspended, careless driving, driving while suspended and resisting arrest.
