A southeast Missouri man is jailed after allegedly setting two fires and phoning in a threat to blow up a building.

Missouri's online court reporting system does not indicate that formal charges have been filed.

Firefighters on Monday were called to two fires, and police say evidence suggested that both were intentionally set.

On Tuesday, a man called the Eagles Lodge in Poplar Bluff and claimed that he had placed explosive devices inside the building. He threatened to detonate them.

Police did not say what led them to the suspect, nor did they discuss a motive.
