Raymond Leroy Scrimager, 78

Raymond Leroy Scrimager, 78, of Sedalia passed away March 21, 2015 at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia.  He was born on March 28, 1936 in  Windsor, the son of Otis and Vernie (Laughlin) Scrimager.

On February 21, 1963 in Windsor, MO, he was united in marriage to Carol Hutchison, who survives of the home.

Raymond served his country honorably in the US Navy.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, David Scrimager of Sedalia, and Cynthia Harness and her husband Carl of Cabot, AR; one sister, Rita York and her husband Stan of Windsor, MO; three grandchildren, Kenneth Harness and his wife Brittany, Michaela Harness and Emily Harness; and one great grandson, Kaleb Ray Harness.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Pastor Jim Downing officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will be at Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, MO.  Full military honors will be conducted at graveside.

Pallbearers will be Henry Perkins,  Pete Melby, David York, Michael York, Darryl York, William E. Hayden, and Kenneth Ray Harness. \

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Center For Human Services, in care of the funeral chapel.
