Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement.  Relay for Life of Pettis County will have its team captain and committee meeting on Thursday, Feb. 20.  Through their fundraising involvement, Relay For Life participants ensure the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society is supported. Volunteers can find fundraising ideas, incentive program details, and encouragement through a number of channels including here on RelayForLife.org and on Relay Nation, an online community developed just for Relay For Life participants.

If you'd like to help here locally and join the Sedalia RFL, go to this informational meeting. They will meet at First United Methodist Church on 4th and Osage.  The team captain meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and the committee meeting will follow at 7:00 p.m.

If you’d like to form a team for the Relay for Life, come to the meeting or call 573-635-4839.
