Richard Eugene Herrick, 68

Richard Eugene Herrick, 68, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Golden Age Living Center, Stover. He was born on May 27, 1945, in Sedalia, a son of Eugene and Pearl (Gott) Herrick.

He was a member of the VFW and American Legion of Columbia, but lived most of his life in Sedalia. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church, Sedalia and enjoyed helping out on the farm. Richard served his country honorably in the US Navy, Vietnam as a Gunners Mate.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Renee Beck of South Carolina; one sister, Mary K. Robinson of Sedalia, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, with Rev. Chris Guffey officiating.
