Richard V. Webster, 81, of Green Ridge, Missouri, died Wednesday evening, June 25, 2014 at his home in Green Ridge.

He was born September 22, 1932, in St. John, Kansas, the son of Orville Webster and Edna Pearl (Baker) Webster. On September 9, 1954, in Warsaw, Mo., he married Fannie Jean Mace and she preceded him in death December 20, 2013.

Mr. Webster worked for Beechcraft Aircraft and Boeing Aircraft, in Wichita, Kansas for some time and then at the former Alcan Cable in Sedalia, retiring after 25 years. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Korea Conflict

Survivors include 4 daughters, Debbie Booyer, Calhoun, Mo.; Donna Ream, Green Ridge, Mo.; Jacqueline Hurt, Kansas City, Kansas; and Janice Webster, Sedalia, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Minnie Roach, Beaverton, Oregon, and Elizabeth Brown, Nevada, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Fewelling.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2014, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Johnny Medlock officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
