Rosa Lee Dove, 79, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Four Seasons Living Center.

She was born August 16, 1933, in Sedalia, a daughter of the late Nicholas B. and Irene Mae (Brownfield) Hall. On February 19, 1955, at Sacred Heart Church, Sedalia, she married Alfred L. Dove, who preceded her in death on October 9, 2006.

She was raised and educated in Sedalia, graduating from Sacred Heart High School in 1953. She lived in rural Green Ridge, raised her children and worked on their family farm for over 50 years. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church, a past member of American Legion Auxiliary where she served as president, and was a charter member of the Golden Entertainers. She previously worked with the Girl Scouts and was a Tupperware dealer for many years. She loved to embroidery, make quilts and quilt tops.

She is survived by six children, Carl Dove (Carlyn), Steven Dove (Anita), Carolyn Donley (Bernard), Clifford Dove, Allen Dove (Sherri), Jeanne Welch (Edward); four siblings, Patricia Schekirke, Edna Bernard, Herman Hall and Erma Bagley; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Irene “Tiny” Hall, Betty Phelps, Blanche Porter, Gilda Bruehl and Edward “Bud” Hall.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Friday, November 30, 2012, at Sacred Heart Church with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Prayers of the rosary will begin at 6 pm, Thursday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with visitation to follow until 8 pm.
