Rosalie “Yvonne” Shobe, 35

Rosalie "Yvonne" Shobe, 35, of Sedalia, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 27, 2013. She was born on January 10, 1978, the daughter of Lee Alan Groshans and Rosalyn (Koester) Shipps.

Yvonne graduated from State Fair Community College with an Associate's of Applied Science Degree in Accounting. During college she was an active member of the Business Club. Yvonne worked at Tyson Foods.

Yvonne was an active mother. Her children, extended family and friends were very important to her. She loved to sing and enjoyed watching "The Big Bang Theory".

Yvonne is survived by her children, Jazmine and Zechariah Jones; her mother, Rosalyn Shipps and her husband, Richard; 3 sisters, Lana DeJaynes and her husband, Danny, Sandra Welton and her husband, Alex and Tina Hill; her half brother, Tommy Lee Groshans and his wife, Jody and 10 nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her father, Lee Alan Groshans.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00PM, Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Freeman officiating. Pallbearers will be Zechariah Jones, Randy Koester, Alex Welton, Danny DeJaynes, Justin Wilson, Samuel DeJaynes, Richard Shipps and Jason Ballance. Burial will follow in Highland Sacred Gardens.

Yvonne's family will receive friends from 11:00AM, Thursday, October 3, 2013 until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Yvonne's funeral services in care of the funeral home.
