S-C Boys Soccer Dominant in Winning WCC Title

Smith-Cotton boys soccer moves to 23-1 on the season and wraps up a 10-0 WCC Championship.

The varsity not only went undefeated in conference for the third straight year, but they also didn’t allow a goal in conference play this season.

The Tigers wrapped up the season Tuesday by beating Warrensburg, 8-0. Goals on the night were recorded by: Riley Moore (2), Viktor Tsymbal (2), Rodrigo Rodriguez, Serge Zayats, Eduardo Alonso and Trent Willis. Assists by: Rodrigo Rodriguez (3), Alex Esquivel (2), Riley Moore, and Zakhar Tikhonov. Rafael Barragan, Brody Barklage, and Colby Edgar secured the shutout. Districts start Monday at Hickman at 5 pm.

JV beat Warrensburg 4-0 and finishes the year 12-3 and 7-0 in WCC play. Goals by: Alex Beard, Jacob Ideran, Keith Hawkins and Wesley Morrison.

Assists by: Trenton Leary, Keith Hawkins, and Orlando Rodriguez. Wesley Morrison and Jordy Salazar secured the shutout.
