The Fall Vocal Music Concert is at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12 and the jazz band and orchestra concert is at 7 p.m. Oct. 17; both are in the Heckart Performing Arts Center.

Director of Vocal Music Anna Wooderson said that attending the concerts is a way for the community to understand and enjoy what the music students are doing in class and see how they all work well together to perform a show.

It is also a way for the community to see a sneak peek at the S-C show choirs; Broadway Velocity, Cabaret and New Score Singers will reveal their full competition shows in January at the Community Preview. --Smith-Cotton student journalist Kelsey Bernard
