The Smith-Cotton High School Army JROTC Color Guard presented the National Colors at the Kansas City Royals baseball game Sept. 10 against the Chicago White Sox.

Color Guard members consisted of Smith-Cotton JROTC Cadets Captain Zachary Thornton, First Sergeant Sarah Bradbury, Major Mackinzie Brines-Beach and Staff Sergeant John Skaggs.

Cadet First Sergeant Bradbury said, “It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I will never forget.”

The Smith-Cotton JROTC program would like to thank the Kansas City Royals Baseball Organization for the opportunity of presenting the National Colors at their home baseball game.
