Leading the way on offense was running back Gauge Young, who rushed for 1,180 yards and 18 touchdowns on the season. Joining him were quarterback Jaden Kendrick, kick returner Zach Powell, tight end Korbin Scott, center Calvin Pritchard, guard Terrence Callaway, and tackle Crymson Couch.

Running back Brandon Neale was an honorable mention selection.

Linebacker Brice Pannier, who had 102 tackles, topped the Tigers’ defensive selections.

Also selected were fellow linebacker Tyshawn Ward, defensive linemen Dominic Ladd and Zach Gwaltney, and defensive backs Elijah Choate, Kyler Simoncic and Nate McFail. Linebacker Brody Kindle was an honorable mention selection.

Smith-Cotton Head Coach Charlie McFail was selected by his WCC peers as the conference’s Coach of the Year. S-C (9-1) was undefeated in the regular season before falling to Belton in the district playoffs.
