The Sacred Heart Gremlins split their opening season games at home against the Leeton Bulldogs Friday night.

The boys won, 65-33.

Brian Oster and Coen Brown led the Grems with 14 points each as the Gremlins. Chase Marshall chipped in 12 points.

A total of nine Gremlins scored in the contest, according to head coach Steve Goodwin.

The Sacred Heart boys, 1-0, travel to Marshall Monday, Nov. 26 for tournament play. The Gremlins are scheduled for tipoff at 8:30 p.m. against Marshall.

The boys play La Monte at home Tuesday, Dec. 4.


 

The girls lost their game 52-28.

Sacred Heart's leading scorer was Madison McClain with 12, said head coach Caleb Crooker.

With the loss, Sacred Heart falls to 0 and 1 on the season and next plays La Monte at home on Monday Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. Wheatland comes to town Nov. 27.
