Third Grade Service Project Supports Fire Victims

After hearing about the local apartment building that burned in late November, the third graders at Sacred Heart School inquired with the Red Cross about how they could help fire victims. They were told that the Red Cross was in need of comfort bags full of basic necessities that they could give to fire victims. Third grade teachers, Jill Bentch and Gloria Close worked with their students to collect donations and fill bags with items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste and tissues.
