Sacred Heart’s Moreno to Play for Culver-Stockton

Sacred Heart senior David Moreno recently signed with Culver-Stockton College (located in Canton) to play football this fall.

Moreno was selected to the following teams as both Offensive Lineman & Defensive Lineman:

2017: First Team All Conference; First Team All District; First Team All State

2016: First Team All Conference; First Team All District; Second Team All State

Moreno was the anchor of the offensive line and defensive line for the Gremlin team that was a semifinalist in 2016 and State runner-up in 2017.

As a defensive tackle, Moreno forced two fumbles, recovered two fumbles and had 75 tackles and six sacks.
