Saline Co. Accident Sends Teen to Columbia Hospital

A 17-year old female from Malta Bend suffered serious injuries Sunday night in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just after 10:00, on MO-20 west of Gem Avenue.

According to the online crash report, a 2000 Ford traveled off the road, became airborne, and struck an embankment.

The driver, Moradiance R. Wheeler, was taken to University Hospital by Staff for Life for treatment.

The Ford was totaled and towed.
