The Saline County Fair will be here before you know it, coming up in the second week of July.
There's going to be a lot of great events going on for this wonderful family and agricultural event down in Marshall.  It all kicks off with the Demolition Derby on July 12 beginning at  7:30 p.m.  The local 4-H Junior Leaders group will be on hand to run the concession stand there.  Then the rest of the  Saline County Fair will begin at the Saline County Fairgrounds the next Wednesday July 16.  The exhibits start then with 4-H and Home Economics in the Multipurpose  Center.  The livestock events also start then, with the big Cattle Shows and Youth Sale. I got to talk over some of the details about the fair with the President Samuel Igo.

And don't forget about the  MRCA & URA Sanctioned Rodeo at 7:30 p.m. (lower arena) on Saturday the 19th with tickets $10 for adults, $5 for 6-12 year olds and FREE for 5 and younger.  The Traditional Country Ham Breakfast will be on Sunday July 20 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. advanced tickets for adults $6, 7 and under FREE.  At door the cost for adults is $7 – carry out available. Call Sam for any questions, or if you'd like to contribute, at 660- 631-2311.

Fairly yours,
Behka
