Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Department Crime Reports for December 24th, 2015

Yesterday morning, around 8:18, in the 100 block of East 16th Street, police took a report of property damage. The reporting party stated that sometime over the last week, someone had broken a window on her building. There are no suspects in the case.

Just before 9:00, Wendsday morning, in the 300 block of North Grand, police took a report of stealing. The female victim stated a package had been stolen from the front porch of her residence. The package delivery had already been confirmed, delivered, by the Post Office. There was no suspect information provided.

Around 2:42, Wendesday afternoon, Sedalia Police officers took a report of a theft that occurred at Bothwell Regional Hospital, located at 601 East 14th Street. The victim stated that sometime between Saturday and Wednesday, someone had stolen money and prescription medication from her purse. There are no suspects at this time.

Just before 10:00, Wednesday evening, Pettis County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on 32nd street. Scott E. Meadows was arrested on charges of identity theft, driving while revoked, and introducing contraband into a jail. Meadows was placed on a 24-hour hold.
