Senior citizens in the area will have the opportunity to learn about protecting themselves from the latest scams and fraud during the 'Scamboree' event at the Sedalia Senior Center in December.
A press release from the Missouri Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) says the event will take place December 12, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Some of the speakers and exhibitors will include Brian Henning, Team Coordinator of the Missouri SMP, as well as representatives from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, Sedalia Police, Missouri Secretary of State’s office, and Crossroads Hospice.

The press release notes the Scamboree is presented in partnership between Care Connection for Aging Services and the Missouri SMP.
