The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, December 15, 2014.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A victim reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole his vehicle in the 24700 Block of Pemberton Road on the night of Dec. 13 or morning of Dec. 14.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he saw a suspicious vehicle in the area of North Clark and Howard on Dec. 12. Sedalia Police found the vehicle was stolen from Kansas City and it was secured by Sedalia Police.

The owner of Broadway Lanes reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole copper tubing and related materials from air conditioners from the East and West side of the building, between June 1 and December 2.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a firearm from his vehicle, between the morning of Dec. 8 and 12.

A man in the 1300 Block of Boonville Reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole his cell phone, last night (Dec. 14).

A man in the 200 Block of East 24th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a go cart frame, valued at $50, between 5 pm on Dec. 7 and 11 am on Dec. 13.

A woman in the 1600 Block of East 5th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her gaming console on Dec. 13.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone tried to break into her shed, between Dec. 9 and 12.

A man in the 300 Block of East 25th reported to Sedalia Police that someone shot his car with a bb gun and stole a car stereo and some tools on Dec. 13.

A man in the 1800 Block of Honda Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that somene damaged his vehicle on Friday (Dec. 12).

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone kicked her car, leaving a large dent in the vehicle on Dec. 12.

A woman in the 900 Block of East 13th reported to Sedalia Police that someone opened checking accounts under her name, without authorization.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate An Accident

Pettis County Deputies received a delayed accident report on Dec. 11. A victim reported to Pettis County Deputies that they were struck by a vehicle, while in the parking lot of State Fair Community College on Nov. 25. The victim reported that they were struck by another vehicle, causing minor injuries, and the victim sought medical treatment on their own.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate An Assault

Pettis County Deputies received a report of an assault that happened in the 28000 Block of Highway U, last night (Dec. 14).
Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Janice Bryan for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,500 cash/surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Edward O'Connell Jr. for a warrant out of Pettis County for 3rd degree domestic assault, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Pamela Woodard for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $2,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Debra Martin for failure to appear and a Sedalia warrant, bond set at $1,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Eddie Ritchie for domestic assault in the 3rd and assault on an officer in the 3rd degree, after spitting in an officer's face.

Pettis County Deputies responded to the Smithton High School in reference to drugs found on school property on Friday (Dec. 12).

Pettis County Deputies arrested a student, where he was held for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Sedalia Police arrested Andrew Kelly for a drug violation for possession of marijuana misdemeanor, possession of drug
paraphernalia and drug violation of synthetic narcotics.

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Jackson for driving while intoxicated for persistent offender, driving while suspended and resisting arrest after a short vehicle pursuit.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Richard Shull for tampering with a motor vehicle in the 1st degree, failure to stop at a stop sign, careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident and driving with a revoked license on Dec. 13. Shull was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges.

Sedalia Police arrested Monty Gravitt Jr. for burglary in the 1st, property damage in the 2nd, assault in the 3rd and sexual misconduct in the 2nd degree.  Pettis County Deputies are requesting charges against Monty Gravitt Jr. of Sedalia for 3rd degree assault on a law enforcement officer.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Shelby Harding for exceeding the posted speed limit.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Michael Frazier for an outstanding warrant.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Michael Dickerson on an active warrant on Dec. 11.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Alvin Brown Jr. of Sedalia on property damage in the 2nd degree, due to County Property damage.
