Sedalia Animal Shelter Stats from 2016

According to the City of Sedalia newsletter, the Sedalia Animal Shelter had over 500 adoptions in 2016.

For the month of December, the Sedalia Animal Shelter had 44 adoptions (22 dogs and 22 cats). They returned 19 lost dogs back to their families and 1 cat.

For the 2016 year, the shelter adopted 519 pets, returned 251 lost pets back to their families and transferred 38 animals to rescue.

December was also their largest month for not only monetary donations but also donations of food, bleach, paper towels, and blankets. According to Sedalia Animal Shelter Manager, Andrea Martin, the total amount of money that was donated in December, is $3,642.20.
