On Tuesday (Jan 2), Sedalia Police took a burglary report in the 600 block of S. Osage Ave. The victim said several items had been stolen or damaged. The estimated loss was placed at $545.00. There are no suspects at this time.


On Monday (Jan 1), Sedalia Police took a burglary report from the 1800 block of S. Sneed Ave. The victim stated that someone broke into her house. A locked door had been pried open and a brick had been thrown through her daughter's window. Reported missing were two 55-inch televisions, two hover boards, and miscellaneous clothing items. There were no further details available in the report.


On Sunday (Dec 31), Sedalia Police responded to Central Bank, located at 400 W. Broadway, for possible property damage to an ATM machine. According to the police report, the ATM control window appeared to have been tampered with or had come unattached from the frame in the cold weather. The report notes the machine was not properly locked. A bank employee arrived to check the alarm codes and believed tampering may have occurred. There were no further details listed in the report.


On Sunday (Dec 31), Sedalia Police took a report of a stolen vehicle. The theft allegedly occurred in the 400 block of W. 5th Street. The police report says the vehicle is a 2000 Chevy Tahoe. The victim told officers that the vehicle was locked and paid for. The Tahoe's information was entered into NCIC and MULES systems as stolen. At this time there are no suspects.


On Saturday (Dec 30), Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 800 block of W. Henry Street. Officers located a man who had a Probation and Parole warrant from Pettis County for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. The suspect, 26-year old Brady Alan Allred, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $4,500.


On Saturday (Dec 30), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of E. 4th Street for a reported disturbance. According to the police report, a verbal disturbance had occurred. A computer check revealed one man involved had a Pettis County warrant for Driving While Revoked. The suspect, 52-year old Kerry K. Wilson Sr, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $3,500.


On Saturday (Dec 30), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of W. Broadway and S. Beacon Ave. for improper registration. A computer check revealed two passengers in the vehicle had Pettis County FTA warrants. Police arrested 19-year old Blake H. Hollon and 22-year old Albert E. Nash. Both men were taken to the Pettis County Jail, where Hollon had a bond of $150 and Nash's bond was $1,500.


On Tuesday (Jan 2), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Thomas Pitts, of Ionia, in the area of Chmelir and Meisner Roads for felony Driving While Revoked.


On Sunday (Dec 31), Pettis County deputies arrested David Dallas Shackles, of Sedalia, for a Pettis County probation violation warrant.
