Sedalia Police say methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located after officers responded to a domestic disturbance on October 13 in the 1500 block of E. 9th St. 51-year-old Sheila Pickett was placed under arrest for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


A traffic stop around 1 a.m. on October 13 led to the arrest of a 29-year-old Sedalia woman. Police say a truck failed to signal a turn, was speeding, and had defective license plate lights. The vehicle was stopped near W. Broadway Blvd. and Ruth Ann Drive. According to a police report, the driver had a revoked license and was intoxicated. Jennifer Lynn Dove was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


Sedalia Police responded to a trespassing complaint at Break Time in the 300 block of W. Broadway on October 14. A police report says that officers were told that 22-year-old Bryanna Lynn Collins had been in the store for about three hours and refused to leave after being asked. Police told Collins that she would be arrested if she did not leave the property. Collins refused to leave and was taken into custody for trespassing.


On October 11, Pettis County Deputies responded to Pacific School in reference to the fraudulent use of a credit card device. The reporting party explained that an unauthorized transaction was made in the amount of $110. An investigation is ongoing.


Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office arrested Emily Ann Almazan on charges of driving while revoked and three counts of assault on a special victim (law enforcement officers). Almazan was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
