Just after 9:00 Monday morning (Feb 13), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the area of Crystal Springs Road, east of LaMonte, in reference to a burglary. The victim stated that sometime on Sunday morning, he noticed he was missing a lottery ticket from his truck, and several pieces of power equipment were missing from his maintenance building. The value of the missing property had not been determined, and the investigation is on going.


On Monday (Feb 13), a Green Ridge man reported to Pettis County deputies that his 1991 Geo Tracker was stolen sometime during the night. There are no suspects at this time, and the investigation continues.


Just after 8:00 Sunday night (Feb 12), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop for improper lane usage. Dispatch advised that a passenger in the vehicle, 19-year-old Savannah T. Stetzenbach, had a Sedalia FTA warrant. Stetzenbach was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $150 bond.


On February 9, Sedalia Police officers responded to the 1300 block of East 11th Street for a reported assault. Officers made contact with the victim, who stated he had been assaulted by his brother. The suspect had fled the area prior to officers arrival. However, Sedalia Police returned to the residence on Monday (Feb 13), to look for the suspect. Officers located the suspect, 54-year-old Len Leroy Curry. He was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.


Around 9:15 Friday morning (Feb 10), Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue. The suspect, 43-year-old John Phillip Williams, had a Pettis County warrant. Williams was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $1,500 bond.


Around 2:40 Friday afternoon (Feb 10), Sedalia Police officers conducted a warrant check in the 800 block of West 7th Street. Officers made contact with two suspects, who both had Pettis County warrants. The suspects, 39-year-old Rebecca R. Alarcon and 40-year-old Jose A. Alarcon, were arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. Rebecca Alarcon had a $5,000 bond, while Jose Alarcon had a $3,500 bond.
