Just before 10:00 Wednesday night (Feb 22), Sedalia Police officers responded to the area of 7th Street and Porter in reference to a disturbance. A man and woman were in the middle of the street. The man then ran inside a residence. Officers attempted to get the man to come out, but according to that report, the woman kept interfering. She was asked to leave the area but she refused. The woman, 27-year-old Chelsea R. Patterson, was arrested and placed on a 12-hour protective hold, due to intoxication.


Around 12:00 Wednesday afternoon (Feb 22), Sedalia Police took a theft report from a woman who claimed that someone had gotten into her mother's car sometime overnight. The car was parked in the 400 block of South Vermont Avenue. Someone had taken a wallet, several forms of ID, and a small amount of cash. There are no suspects at this time.


Around 9:20 Wednesday night (Feb 22), Missouri State Highway Patrol officers arrested 36-year-old Jewel C. Roland, of Sedalia, for Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), Distribution of methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Roland was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.
