On Thursday (Jan 19), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the Probation and Parole Office, located at 205 Thompson Avenue. Deputies arrested Kevin Lee for an active Pettis County FTA warrant. Mr. Lee was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond set at $235.50, cash only.

 

On Wednesday (Jan 18), Sedalia Police officers conducted a subject check near 16th Street and Kentucky Avenue. The male subject had a Pettis County warrant for possession amphetamines. A search also revealed the man had drug paraphernalia. Officers arrested Brian K. Johnson Jr. and transported him to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $5,000 cash or surety.

 

Around 4:00 Wednesday afternoon (Jan 18), Sedalia Police officers stopped a green Honda for speeding. Information from the driver and passenger was relayed to dispatch. The passenger turned out to have a warrant out of Callaway County, MO. The passenger, 26-year old Joseph L. Goree, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $500, cash or surety.

 

Around 8:00 Wednesday evening (Jan 18), Sedalia Police officers responded to an assault in the 700 block of East Broadway. A woman who was involved, had an active warrant from Johnson County. 35-year old Tori A. Wild, was arrested for the warrant and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $25,000, cash bond.

 

Wednesday evening (Jan 18), Sedalia Police officers responded to Casey's General Store, located at 716 West 16th Street, in reference to a stolen vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 1995 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. It is gray and dark blue, in color. According to that report, the keys were inside the vehicle at the time of the theft. There were no further details listed in that report.
