Sedalia Police officers responded to The End Zone Sports Bar, located at 3129 West Broadway, around 9:30 Tuesday night (Jan 24), in reference to two men fighting. The bar staff attempted to separate the two men, but were having difficulty. Officers made contact with the men and an investigation revealed that the suspect had gone over to a table and struck the other man, while he was seated. A staff member also reported that the suspect had pushed her out of the way. The suspect, 30-year-old Silverio J. Rosas II, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail. Charges of 3rd Degree Assault (felony), 4th Degree Assault (misdemeanor), and possession of a controlled substance, are being sought.


Around 10:00 Tuesday night (Jan 24), Sedalia Police officers responded to the 1600 block of East 6th Street, for a reported disturbance. A woman stated that a man placed his arm on her face and pushed, while also pushing his knee into her leg. The man denied what the woman said, and stated that she was screaming in his face. A primary aggressor could not be determined and no arrests were made, however a 12-hour log was generated.


On Wednesday (Jan 25), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies conducted a warrant service at the Sheriff's office. Deputies made contact with Geraldo M. Ybarra, who had a Pettis County warrant. Ybarra was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $5,000 bond, cash or surety.


On Wednesday (Jan 25), deputies were dispatched to the area of South Park Avenue and 32nd Street, in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim stated that in the overnight hours, someone broke into his garage and stole a silver Mercury Sable. There were no further details listed in that report and the investigation is ongoing.
