On May 11, Sedalia Police took a theft report from RCL Wiring, located at 601 S. Marshall Avenue. According to the report, the suspect cut a hole in the fence surrounding the property, then stole approximately $4,000 in wiring.

Then on Thursday (May 25), Sedalia Police located the suspect, identified as 36-year old Gonzalo J. Esqueda. He was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail, for felony stealing, 1st degree trespassing, and 2nd degree property damage.


Just after 10:00 Thursday morning (May 25), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Probation and Parole Office at 205 Thompson Road, in reference to a man with a Saline Count warrant. Police arrested the man, 62-year old Richard E. Parker Jr. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $15,000.


Around 11:15 Wednesday night (May 24), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of South Harrison Avenue, for a report of a motor vehicle theft. Through an investigation, officers made contact with the suspect. It was discovered that the suspect had a Pettis County warrant. The suspect, 36-year old Terry J. Roark, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $1,000. According to the report, the vehicle theft is still under investigation.


On Monday (May 22), Sedalia Police took a report of a forgery. The victim said that the suspect wrote a check to purchase items an auction. When the victim tried to cash the check, it was discovered there was no account. According to the report, the suspect lives in Neosho, MO and information is being forwarded to the prosecutor. No names and no further details were listed in the report.


On Friday (May 26), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies took a report of a stolen trailer, that allegedly occurred in the 100 block of Main Street in Houstonia. No other details were listed in the report, but the investigation is ongoing.
