Last Thursday evening around 5:00 (Oct 20), Sedalia Police officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from a detached shed in the area of South Harrison Avenue and Wilkerson Street. All the occupants were removed from the shed, which included 4 adults and 5 juveniles. Consent was give to search the shed and officers discovered a plastic bag, with marijuana inside. The four adults were arrested for possession of marijuana.

 

 

Around 10:00 Monday morning (Oct 24), officers took a report of identity theft and stealing. The complainant stated they noticed charges totaling $215.51, made in Kansas City, on their account. The charges were reported to the bank and the account was closed. No suspects were listed in that report.

 

Around 9:40 Monday morning (Oct 24), a male subject came into the lobby of the Sedalia Police Station, stating he had warrants. Dispatch confirmed the man had three Pettis County warrants. 30-year old Zkristopher Danyale Deleshull was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $410.00, cash only.


On Monday (Oct 24), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies responded to a trespassing complaint at State Fair Community College. After an investigation, JaChai Nelson was arrested for 1st Degree Trespassing. Nelson was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail, pending the filing of formal charges by the Prosecutor's Office.

 

Around 1:00 Monday afternoon (Oct 24), deputies conducted a follow-up in the 3000 block of Rissler Road. Deputies made contact with two female subjects. It was determined one of the females had an active warrant for a probation violation. Crystal D. Kearney was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $500.00, cash bond.
